White Chocolate Lovers Rejoice: McVitie's Digestives Are Back!
Two Decades Later, a Classic British Treat Returns to Brighten Your Day

Indulge Your Taste Buds: McVitie's White Chocolate Digestives Are Back!
If you're a fan of classic British tea-time treats, you're in for a delightful surprise. McVitie's is bringing back a beloved favorite – White Chocolate Digestives. While the classic milk chocolate version has always been a go-to choice, there's something truly special about the sweet allure of white chocolate. And it's making a triumphant return to UK shelves!
White Chocolate Digestives were launched to celebrate the 100th anniversary of McVitie's Milk Chocolate Digestives, joining the likes of Dark Chocolate, Double Chocolate, and Caramel. Best of all, it's understood that this flavour is here to stay, as a permanent member of McVitie's collection of biscuits.
What makes this revival even more special is the fact that White Chocolate Digestives haven't graced the shelves since the mid-2000s, which means it's been nearly two decades since fans could savor these delightful treats.
As per McVitie's, the name 'Digestive' refers to the sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) used to produce the biscuits. It was presumed at the time that this ingredient would help settle upset stomachs, although this likely isn't the case once it's been added to baked goods.
In 1925, McVitie's upped its game by releasing the now classic chocolate-covered digestive to the general public, who have been happily dunking them in their brews ever since.
